“My cars have always been an inspiration to me. I see them as moving art." - Ralph Lauren
A fashion show in Ralph Lauren's garage. A look at his cars, his inspiration in front of you where his passions merge: fashion and cars. In his garage, thats where Ralph Lauren showcased his Spring 18 line for NYFW.

Fast cars, fashion and design in his personal hangar which houses his priceless collection of rare motor cars, an hour's drive from Manhattan. These magnificent super cars formed a gleaming, sculptural backdrop to the see-now, buy-now show.

His show erased genders showcasing men and women wearing suits beautifully stiched. Tailoring played a pivotal role in his collection and so did plaids. Strong silhouttes suggested woman power, intelligent feminity stood out. A few of the looks were directly car inspired. Bright yellow trench coat, bomber jackets with car symbols, leather tops and suits. Sleek gowns with the race symbols be it squares or stripes kept the look elegant yet young. A non gendered, race driven show.
