"It takes one minute to fall in love with Paris and a lifetime to know her"

This post is about the beautifully done-up big label boutiques that stuck in my head and heart on my recent visit to Paris. Besides the fashion, the window displays and immaculate interiors bring each brand alive elevating the experience of shopping to new heights.

In addition to the boutique, Madame Chanel's private apartments, design studio, workshops and the haute couture salon are all located here. Black, white, elegance and purity its core brand identity comes alive in the store. Handbags, perfumes, cosmetics, accessories, rows of shoes and couture redefine elegance.

Valentino's new boutique on Avenue Montaigne has a palazzo concept. Each room interconnects with the other welcoming in turn the delicate and poetic language of this house of fashion. Beautiful bags on display urge you to enter this sheek boutique which leads to a whole floor of haute couture.

joseph Joseph: This beautiful well constructed label is a concept store where interior decoration is not just a second thought. A luminous white futuristic tunnel leads to a room and a lounge where ready-to-wear and accessories are displayed.

And Paris's very own Galleries Layfayette with its magnificent walls and ceilings takes your breath away. One seems to look up at the intricate details more than the goods. An apt definition of a visual feast.

The iconic Parisian store Printemps has its artistic branch at the Louvre, which was showcasing an exhibition "Pop The Bag", aimed at supporting contemporary art while depicting an artistic vision of the handbag. Six international artists interpreted an iconic fashion accessory in their own form of expression, the renderings bursting with energy.
